Teriyaki-Flavored Shiitake Bacon Skewers

Easy and delicious grilling recipe!



Ingredients

 
  • 1 pack of Emperor shiitake mushrooms (150 g)

  • 1 pack of bacon

  • Teriyaki sauce, e.g., Santa Maria



Directions

 
  1. Thread shiitake mushrooms onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least half an hour before using.

  2. Wrap a slice of bacon around each mushroom skewer.

  3. Lightly brush with teriyaki sauce and grill or pan-fry until the bacon is crispy and the mushrooms have softened.

  4. Brush the skewers with teriyaki sauce during cooking to caramelize the surface.
